Excellent spot. We ordered the fettuccine alfredo w/chicken and shrimp scampi and it was amazing. Perfect amount, not too much or too little. Our waitress Jackie was very attentive as well. Will return soon!

I absolutely love Italian food. When I heard that they were opening La Rustica here in Oak Point I was super excited to go but we got super busy and it just didn't happen....UNTIL TONIGHT! And boy I was NOT disappointed! We had chicken piccata, gnocchi, and penne with chicken and veggies (can't remember the name of the dish). My chicken piccata was really good. It was lite and perfectly seasoned. just the right amount of lemon in the sauce. Delicious. I tasted the gnocchi and it was really good too. Also had bruschetta appetizer and tiramisu for dessert My favorite thing of the night was the bruschetta. I love bruschetta and have had it many, many times. This was by far the best bruschetta I've had in a long, long time. so very good. I think I might be addicted to it now and I'm going to start craving it! Service was fantastic. I love the atmosphere. it was all amazing and I will definitely be back as often as I can!

I wanted to take the time to publicly thank La Rustica Italian, especially Jessica for the incredible job they did hosting my daughter’s graduation party! Back in January and February I was working with a major Italian restaurant chain, in order to host the graduation party. After visiting the venue, on Valentines Day weekend, my daughter was all in, and I called to put down the deposit. When I called back that Monday, they told me that they were sold out, and we were so disappointed. I decided to give La Rustica a call, because we are big fans of their food and their restaurant. I had the pleasure of talking with Jessica, who told me that they were not hosting parties like that but were thinking about starting to host parties. I believe we were their first party that the restaurant hosted, and I can tell you that we are so extremely grateful to her and her team. She opened the restaurant for us and they went WAY ABOVE our wildest expectations, from the food to the servers, to decorations, to the menu that she made, this is truly a top notch dining experience!!! Everything was better than any five-star upscale restaurant could have done. We had 35 guests, and they are still raving about how good the food was and how great the service was. I am so glad that the well known chain said no to us. Oak Point, feel blessed that we have a local restaurant that loves our town! Do me a favor, if you have not been to La Rustica, go and try them. I promise you won’t be disappointed! Eat local, and thanks Jessica and team!!!

Dinner for 3 at 4:30 pm. Saturday May 3, 2025. What an amazing discovery right in my own back yard (so to speak). La Rustica is a hidden gem of an Italian restaurant. Once we entered we were back in San Francisco on the water where all the 5 star restaurants can be found. I celebrated my 75th birthday there with my family. Did not know what to expect, to our delight everything was prepared with care and love. Plates were dressed and presented like they were serving royalty. Let's start with the Lobster Ravioli in Vodka sauce. I am not a fan of Vodka sauce. I asked for a sample and to my delight it was just the right blend of spices and a creamy light textured concoction that melts in your mouth. My description is WOW! what a sauce. So I ordered the Lobster Ravioli. Hubby has the Shrimp Scampi, it had just the right mixture of tang and butter with garlic. Another winner, our daughter ate the last of his left overs that evening and raced about it. Our Daughter ordered the Chicken Picatta, she chose a bed of wilted Spanish instead of pasta. Again the dish was cooked to protection. We ordered the Calamari and Bruschetta for the table and they were both amazing as well. The Calamari was lightly coated and fried served with two sauces. The Bruschetta was a surprise served on light as air toasted bread. Our desert was a HAPPY BIRTHDAY card signed by the staff and a Cannoli yet another delight. We enjoyed everything, had such a great time we booked reservations for Sunday Brunch on Mother's Day. Give them a try you won't be sorry or just drop by for a drink they have loads of speciality drinks. FIVE STAR all the way. Thanks Jessica! see you soon.

We went on a Saturday night with some friends. Food was AMAZING! It tasted so fresh that it reminded me of eating in Italy. I got the lobster ravioli and my husband got the chicken Marsala. The chicken was so tender, it was like it melted in your mouth. The burrata caprese was delicious! I know it's a simple dish but the cheese tasted so fresh, which is a rare thing here. I should've taken a pic but was so excited to dig in. I typically don't get dessert but since the food was AMAZING, I had to try some. None of us were disappointed! The chocolate cake was so delicious and tasty, not overly sweet, it was truly a treat! Cannoli was just as tasty. The homemade limoncello also reminded me of Italy, not too sweet and not too strong, perfect balance. We will definitely be back! It's so nice to see a nice restaurant in the area instead of another fast food place. If my words don't convince you to try this place, my pics will.

We LOVE this place. So happy they are in the area. Since opening, we are probably averaging one visit per week. The food on the menu is great. The food specials are amazing. Just went there yesterday and am looking at the calendar to see when we can go back this week. If they have the Cod special, GET IT! The ambiance is comfortable and the staff is really good. Check this place out and please help them thrive.

We recently celebrated with a party of 8 at La Rustica Italian Restaurant in Little Elm, and we enjoyed everything from appetizers to dessert. Starting with appetizers, the Calamari was exceptional—perfectly cooked, tender, and melted in your mouth. The Bruschetta Board was also a standout, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. For dinner, we sampled a variety of dishes. My mother-in-law had the Lasagna and loved it, describing it as very good. I ordered the Chicken Parm, which was divine—perfectly breaded, tender, and flavorful. Although I requested penne and received spaghetti instead, it was still delicious, so no complaints there! Other entrees at our table included the Carbonara, Pizza Di Carne, Gnocchi Formaggi, and Salsiccia La Rustica. Everyone agreed their dishes were absolutely delicious. Desserts did not disappoint either—the Tiramisu was excellent, creamy, and authentic. The cocktails complemented our meal wonderfully, adding another layer of enjoyment. Service throughout our meal was attentive and friendly. However, the only drawback was the noise level—it was extremely loud, making conversation difficult even with the person right next to you, let alone across the table. The bill came to over 900 for our party of 8, but we did indulge with several cocktails each, appetizers, main courses, and desserts. Overall, La Rustica delivered an impressive dining experience with fantastic food and great service, despite the noise. Highly recommended—just be prepared for a lively atmosphere!
